FAQ

What is a sample sale?

A sample sale is an opportunity to buy a wedding gown at a discounted price! Bridal salons own "sample" gowns for brides to try on before ordering their custom order gowns. These "sample" gowns may become discontinued overtime or the store may decide that they want to sell their samples to make room for new inventory. We have partnered with the top bridal salons in the U.S., along with our designers, to curate our sample sale collection.

What is the condition of your gowns?

Since most of these gowns have been previously tried-on, their discounted price reflects the varying amounts of wear per gown. Brides are more than welcome to schedule an alterations consultation to address any questions or concerns that they might have.

Do you sell anything besides bridal gowns?

In addition to bridal gowns, we also evening wear, bridesmaid dresses, and accessories.

What designers do you carry?

While our inventory is constantly changing, we typically have a selection of gowns from Amanda Wakeley, Amsale, Anna Maier, Anne Barge, Berta, Bliss by Monique Lhuillier, Carolina Herrera, Christos, Dee Hutton, Francesca Miranda, Inbal Dror, Ines di Santo, J. Mendel, Jenny Lee, Jenn Packham, Judd Waddell, Junko Yoshioka, Kenneth Pool, Lazaro, Lela Rose, Liancarlo, Marchesa, Mira Zwillinger, Monique Lhuillier, Naeem Khan, Oscar de la Renta, Peter Langner, Rivini, Romona Keveza Legends, Romona Keveza Collection, Rosa Clara, Sachin & Babi, Vera Wang, and Zuhair Murad.

Where does your inventory come from?

Our inventory comes from the top bridal salons in New York City, NY; San Francisco, CA; Chicago, Illinois; Miami, FL; Houston, TX: and Charleston, SC. We also receive inventory directly from designers in Italy, Israel, and around the world.

How often do you get new items?

There is no set schedule- we are constantly adding gowns to our inventory.

I am a retailer or designer - how can I get in touch with you to sell items?

If you would like to work with us, please email hello@carinesaisle.com

What are your policies regarding refunds, returns, and exchanges?

All sample sale purchases are final sale - no exceptions.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. We do accept cash however, we only take exact change. We also accept checks; please note we do not allow inventory to leave the store until the check has cleared.

What if I fall in love with a dress and I can't make up my mind that day? What can I do?

We are happy to hold a gown for you for up to three business days with a non-refundable 15% deposit. This deposit will go towards the purchase of your selected gown at Carine's Aisle.

Is Carine's aisle affiliated with Carine's Bridal Atelier?

Both stores have the same owner, but they are two separate businesses.

What should I bring with me?

We recommend you bring a pair of heels, a strapless bra, and a friend.

What should I expect?

You will be able to try on many different designer sample gowns from all over the country (and the world)! We have an open fitting from in which only women are allowed behind the curtain. You will be sharing the fitting room with other brides. Because of this, no photography or men are allowed behind the curtain. Additionally, any male accompaniment is required to stay at the front of the store in order to protect the privacy of our brides.

How many dresses can I try on at a time?

You may bring up to three dresses in the fitting room at a time.

Can I take pictures of the gowns I am trying on?

Pictures are allowed as long as they are not in or near the fitting room.

Is Carine's Aisle pet-friendly?

Although we love pets, they are unfortunately not allowed at Carine's Aisle in order to maintain the condition of the dresses and the salon.
